Seems I live here…

For a few days now I’ve been living at the coffeeshop where all these 30 photos now hang.

I think I mentioned this last time, but it is quiet bizarre to overhear people discuss images. They don’t know you are the photographer and you’re sitting right there.

Sometimes they like them, sometimes they don’t. I heard once that if someone is not critiquing you or your images, you’re not doing something worthwhile.

I love to hear people don’t like an image… but only if they include a ‘why’. There should be a ‘why’ to everything. There is a why to each and every photograph. Some after the fact, some at the moment of capture.

I love photography. I love telling stories. I love my job.

My greatest wish – the world would be better for it – is that people would find what they truly love doing and do it and then not have to worry about the money of it.

I guess that’s my touchy-feely “I want world piece” moment.

Stay tuned,
