From time to time I mention the work I do as an editorial photographer. Its probably one of my favorite parts of life as a photographer – documenting the real life stuff.
But, no matter how many pageviews or clicks I get on my website, there is something fascinating about seeing an image in the newspaper. Seeing it in dozens of places almost never gets old.
Its not a pride thing, I assure you, getting a photo in the paper or on a website or in a publication happens every day. But there’s something extremely satisfactory about it.
This photo you might recognize from the post on Jan.30. It warms my heart to have a monochrome image on the front page of a newspaper above the fold.
When you trip the shutter, you just never really know where that photo might end up.
