To each, their own…

Half a century ago, people were screaming and swooning about Elvis and The Beatles…

…now they scream and swoon over these guys. Anybody know who this kid is? It seems everyone else does.

Yes, I happened upon the red carpet premiere of “Eclipse” for the UK. Randomness upon randomness.

But it seems I wasn’t the only one…

But, happily, that wasn’t the only thing we did today.

Saw the Eye…

…and spent a substantial amount of time at the Tate Modern…

…looking at… things…

…don’t forget what I titled this post, my friends.

I hope you have enjoyed my articles and photos thus far. We’re pretty much half way through the year and there is one for every day so far. Some are random ramblings, some are fairly wordless.

But never forget, it is often more important to listen than it is to talk. You have a right to be heard, but so does each and every other person.

We from the States know it as the First Amendment, the blessing and the curse that it is at times. It is the same law that lets us criticize our government without fear of persecution, but it is the same law that lets people picket military funerals.

Whatever you support, it is your sovereign right to decide for yourself as the world stands today. Lets not forget that.

Now, that’s a long way from screaming tweens at a Twilight premiere and barely comprehensible “modern art” but I hope you get the picture.

“As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

[…]

You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.”

Stay tuned, my friends, there is much to see…
