Simple live music…

The musicians here at the University played the music for a silent film tonight.
I wasn’t there for that; its kinda silly to photograph at a movie. But they needed photographs for advancement.

So, of course, there I was.

These included all sorts of “stock” type of images for them. Nothing newsworthy, necessarily, just stuff…

Love those primes and their beautiful bokeh. Yeah, its a little gear-nerd of me, but I personally would rather use a fixed lens than a zoom any day.

Its actually fairly interesting to shoot something like this. Of course, this is all during practice the hour before the performance. Shooting for these unknown layouts require you to shoot things and all sorts of angles, all directions: left-facing, right-facing, vertical, horizontal… all permutations.

Stay tuned,
