It is 7 Dec 2010. That’s Pearl Harbor Day. And, my dad’s birthday.
I sat in my “office” (read: Books-A-Million coffee shop) today doing my usual thing. There were a few older guys there wearing their dog tags. They weren’t wearing them as a fashion statement, I assure you.
There are certain things in the world we take for granted. Let not the wisdom of people who have needed armor plating and bullet-proof glass be one of those things that falls by the wayside.
