Phone progress…

One of these days, the Droid people will release an app to control exposure before capture… then life with the Motorola Droid will be complete.

So, progress after a month of owning it?

So, this will just be a little photoblog with a few favorites from the past month.

I kinda think these dudes are a little creepy… but my parent’s house has a small army of them!

And I do a massive amount of driving…

…in the rain.

Oh, and by the way, all these images are edited in the phone. Its just crazy that I easily remember when the snake game was the coolest thing on my Nokia brick phone.

Its kinda fun to shoot in a bit of a street style with my phone. Its definitely not a Leica, but its my “best camera” for the moment.

I really like how these two photos have such a similar construction and composition. They’re taken only moments away from each other…

And watching a basketball game on a late night deadline in the Student Publications office. I REALLY wish there was some exposure control… but oh well…

Oh, and the day a cell phone will record RAW? I don’t even know what I’ll say… speechless, I’m sure.

And one last photo for the moment? The background wallpaper on my phone right now.

So, my original decision still stands: the Droid phone is a powerhouse of technology. When the number and quality of apps catches up with the iPhone, there’s nothing it won’t be able to do.

The year is winding down and I’m realizing more and more that there are going to be some significant life-changing stuff going on in 2010. Though 2009 was pretty cool – I’ve logged more individual jobs this year than there have been days – this next year is going to be something exceptional.

You should really stay tuned, its about to get good… 😉
