And it seems neither will the Dept of Transportation in Memphis today.
I’ve talked about such things before, but it is unfortunate. What happened was unfortunate. But what has happened since has run the gamut from awesome to truly appalling.
Without beating the dead horse of all the things you’ve been hearing leading up to the 10th anniversary, just a simple photo will do for me: an image of a traffic sign somewhere in/near Memphis, Tenn.
Memphis says, “Yep, we’re still here.” Boise, Idaho says, “Yep, we’re still here.” And New York City says, “Yep, we’re still here.”
