More from Oxford and Regent…

It was a mission to buy a relatively warm coat today.

That took me to Oxford and Regent, of course. Of course!

All in the throes of Christmas these days…

And the low angles of sunlight at these high latitudes.

I’m not a shopping feind. I usually don’t care much about it. But where I can “shop” all day in most cities in the States and not find much of anything, I find a dozen things in just a few minutes in London. It’s just the way of things here…

Blocked cross-walks in the traffic…

Subtle smoke…

…and in color.

Leica has a certain color. It’s a certain look. And I like it.

Particularly at night, too…

Take out the weird purple fringing that the Voigtlander lenses throw in there and it’s just not bad at all! Points of light have nice little stars, images much cleaner than people sometimes complain about when they try to improperly compare it, and realistic color. At least that’s my two cents so far.

Stay tuned…
