There has to be something to be said about a company that creates their own niche.
I had been dubious since it was announced… I was actually kinda critical. Then… I went out on a limb.
And, what I thought was just going to be a big toy has actually become a valuable asset to my daily work and photographic workflow.
To be able to load my card on site and show a client or a subject? That’s beyond reasonable. It speeds up everything. Teaching, controlling keynote remotely? Undeniably “techie” but I’m able to stand down front of my 55 students and not hide behind a desk or podium or the computer over in the corner. And other simple things? Email, Facebook, Twitter… no doubt enhanced.
Probably nothing that my Droid didn’t do… but with a certain amount of synchronicity that I have not yet experienced.
Anyways.
