Cold places don’t last…

Except in the ridiculous latitudes north and south or around the equator, the changes of the seasons mark the passing of years. It becomes more apparent when another summer has gone and it gets too cold to sit outside talking for long hours after the sun goes down. Or at the end of winter the trees take on a certain tint before the fresh leaves are clearly discernable.

2013_01.26-1002189There is one thing that should humble every one of us: the passage of time. There’s nothing you can do to slow it down. It will be there long after the sun fizzles out.

Stay tuned…
